“The anti-smoking movement is driven by an agenda — an agenda that will not allow science, sound policy analysis, the law, or ethics to get in its way.”

Ban the Ban's 2012 Political Endorsement Page

2010 was a good year. The voters spoke and removed many of the "big government" legislators and replaced them with common-sense anti-nanny government lawmakers. Unfortunately, the Minnesota legislature was consumed with the biennial budget process in 2011.

Were hoping the 2012 legislative session will have more lawmakers seriously considering repealing or amending the smoking ban on private property. We also hope to keep these small government lawmakers in office in and get even more of them elected in November of 2012.

Tim has always been a strong supporter of BtBMN. He believes that "A government's first duty is to protect personal liberty, not dictate conduct." We believe Tim is a man of unwaivering principles, and would work to repeal the unconstitutional smoking ban on private property.
